Summer Class Fun!!!

On June 5, several summer classes will unfold for the women of my local church. I would love for you to join me! It is an opportunity to grow in your faith and stay connected throughout the summer. If you are in the Charlotte area, you are invited - please come; we would LOVE, LOVE to have you. Resilient Worship - How to Worship in the Highs and Lows

This encouraging study unpacks a quietly tucked OT story about two courageous women who fearlessly honored God. Through their example, we will learn to live a resilient life, remain steadfast even during the most challenging times, and praise Him always. I (Becky Seamon) will be teaching this class. If you don't know me well, know that sharing the goodness of our Lord and how to apply His word to our life is the highlight of ministry for me. Fix Your Eyes: How Our Study of God Shapes Our Worship of Him

"Fix your eyes" is an invitation to understand who God is and the doctrines of the Christian faith. You will walk away understanding key theological concepts and how to worship Him through them. Join us for a themed covered dish dinner at 6:15 p.m. and class at 7 p.m. on Wednesday nights.

Please note that this class will use Amy Gannett's book "Fix Your Eyes: How Our Study of God Shapes Our Worship of Him. This book can be purchased at Amazon and most major bookstores. Caroline Philips, who serves on The West Cab Women's Team, is the sweet momma to two beautiful kiddos, and has a booth at MarketPlace in Kannapolis, NC, and will be teaching this class! Examining Biblical Womanhood: Created to Worship as Women

One way we worship God is by thinking rightly about His good and perfect design for women. Why were we created? What is God's purpose for women? How do we apply this in the various areas of our lives? This study will examine who we are as Women of God and how that is displayed in our worship of Him. Cyndee Ownbey will teach this class. She is the founder and President of Women's Toolbox Ministry, mother of two boys, and serves on the West Cab Ladies Team. Worship Through the Hymns

This class will worship the Lord by examining the setting and storyline of prominent hymns and examining the rich Biblical passages supported in these hymns. Join us on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 AM as we worship the Lord together this summer. Peggy Kean is the leader of the class. She has walked with the Lord for many years and is an absolute delight! Worshiping the Lord: Walking through Truth

You are invited to join us as we unpack and process together the following topics:  friendships and relationships, communication skills for listening and conflict resolution, staying healthy mentally & emotionally, navigating difficult circumstances with God's Word, choosing to trust God through sorrowful seasons, discipleship and mentoring, and Biblical resources. You are welcome to participate in all group sessions or pick certain sessions.

Please note that this is group counseling for ladies ages 18-24 and the only gathering with a cost. The cost is 25 dollars per session. A potluck will be held before each session. This class meets on Thursdays from 6-8 pm and is taught by Lisa Bolumen, MA, LCMHA, NCC, with Grounded By Grace Counseling Service. Lisa is a partner of West Cab.
