Honey in the Rock Retreat

This past weekend I was blessed beyond measure to share with a fabulous group of ladies from He's Alive Church. We met at Ridgecrest Conference Center in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains of NC. The weekend consisted of beautiful views, relaxing evenings, yummy food, lots of chocolate, and great new friends. The best part of all was the wonderful ladies of this tribe.

As we laughed, cried, worshiped, and prayed together, I was reminded of the importance of Christian women connecting with other Christian women. There is something special when believers gather together. If you serve the same God, your hearts can connect quickly. It is truly a beautiful and priceless gift. Matthew 18:20 reads, "For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them."

Friend, I don't know where you are today, but can I encourage you to find your tribe? Find people that love your Jesus and hang with them.

Let them encourage you. Let them pray with you. Let them share your love of Jesus. Because though I went to bless the ladies of He's Alive Church, they blessed me a hundredfold. "Encourage one another and build each other up, just as, in fact, you are doing." 1 Thessalonians 5:11

"Encourage one another and build each other up, just as, in fact, you are doing."

Be in a community and be the community. Be the one to encourage another. Be the one that speaks truth into a hurting soul.

So, who can you bless today? What words of truth can you share? How can you encourage a friend that needs the gift of your time? As we love others with Christ-honoring affirmations and actions, we will be the ones who are blessed.
