Time to Bloom Boldly

She laid tucked.

Hidden.

Buried as the world halted to a slow cadence.

Daily alarms of sickness, perhaps even death, threatened for months. “Don’t emerge too soon,” was warned. “Don’t come out of your safe hiding,” they shouted.

So she stayed buried.

Buried but growing. Buried but developing deeply. Buried but resting and waiting until just the right time.

She was buried, until . . . Until her moment – Her moment to resurface. She waited for her day to reengage as hope birthed within.

One day, she peeked out of her hole and stretched beyond her comfort zone. She felt the sunshine and breathed in the fresh air. She grew. She began to dance in the rain. With time, she grew bright in color and in character until, one day she bloomed. She bloomed bigger and bolder than ever before. She became a statement of beauty. She was breathtaking.

Perhaps, just maybe, today is your day. What if today is your time to reengage? I believe this moment could be your display of the beauty buried within your being. I know that today is full of potential. So, bloom. Bloom, my friend. Bloom Boldly. Bloom Big. Bloom Brighter than you ever have before. But please, bloom. You are too beautiful and bold to stay buried forever.

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (NIV)
