Sweet Summer!

Dear Summer,

I think heaven leaves fingerprints all over you.

There is something about you that draws people together. Even the sun seems reluctant to leave when you're around. Every good and perfect gift comes from our Father above (James 1:17), and somehow you remind me of His generosity.

You smell like sunscreen and fresh-cut grass. You taste like sweet watermelon and homemade ice cream. You give space for adventures.

You sound like children laughing in sprinklers, waves crashing on the shore, and lightning bugs dancing beneath a star-filled sky. You remind me that "the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord" (Psalm 33:5).

You invite me to slow down.

To wear flip-flops a little longer.

To linger on the porch.

To watch one more sunset.

To say "yes" to one more memory.

You invite me to live the words of Psalm 46:10: "Be still, and know that I am God."

Thank you for another beautiful chapter. Thank you for the people You have woven into my story. Their laughter, love, and presence are reminders that every good and perfect gift is from above.

With gratitude,

Becky

As summer slowly fades, my family and I are squeezing every possible moment together. We are making memories this weekend that, Lord willing, will become stories we tell for years to come.

I pray your summer held backyard cookouts, family gathered around the table, children's laughter, quiet mornings with coffee, breathtaking sunsets, and perhaps even unexpected answers to prayer.

Friend, these are not ordinary moments. They are gifts from a gracious Father.

Before this season slips away, pause long enough to thank Him.

Celebrate His faithfulness.

Remember His goodness.

"The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad." — Psalm 126:3

Every season tells a story.

May yours be marked by sweet memories, grateful hearts, and the deep presence of God. And may the memories of this summer remind you that the Giver is even sweeter than His gifts.
