Uncertain Days

When soaring above the clouds, I can easily see the vastness of this big, beautiful world. The blue sky meets a floor of clouds as far as the eye can see.

However, when standing underneath the clouds, my view is different. It is limited. On the ground, I see what is directly in front of me, a street view instead of the big picture. Living in the street view makes it easy to focus only on what is directly in front of me. I see my tiny piece of the world. My vision is full of my life and my worries. My Problems look Big because my view is small.

Sometimes, I forget how Big my God is and that He controls everything. In a world where life is uncertain and plans can unravel, we have a profound source of stability—our unchanging and all-powerful God.

My dear friend, as you face the challenges that greet you this morning, hold onto the profound truth about the immense God we serve. His love for you knows no bounds; it is a love that surpasses all understanding. Therefore, you can trust Him in the middle of uncertainty or difficulty. Remember, His power is beyond measure, His grace is boundless, and His faithfulness endures forever. Your problems will seem smaller when measured against the vastness of our Lord.

Today, remember your God. Remember who He is and what He has done. Remember the Big Picture as you stare at your worries: "Great is our Lord and mighty in power; his understanding has no limit." Psalm 147:5 Be reminded that your problems will look Big when your view is small, but your problems will look small when your view is Him!
