Resting in the truth that God knows and sees me brings me much comfort. He sees me, knows me, created me, and orchestrated the days of my life. Sometimes, I need this reminder; how about you?

If you are feeling overlooked, forgotten, and perhaps pushed into a corner, meditate on Psalm 139:13-16. It is reassuring and refreshing in a world where one may feel unseen. You can rest in the truth of this Scripture.
Psalm 139:13-16 reads: "For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows them very well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them." (Psalm 139:13-16 ESV)
This gives comfort because God formed my 'inward parts, ' meaning He carefully and miraculously created and weaved together my organs, blood cells, and every detail of my being. He formed me in the quiet and safe space of my mother's womb. I am truly wonderfully and miraculously made. And you are, too!
My frame was not hidden from the maker in this beautiful woven creation. Your frame was not hidden from your maker. He saw and sees me and you. He wrote in His book our days before our birth. His eyes have followed me since the beginning of my existence. He does the same now for you and me. You are not hidden from the eyes of the One who knitted you together. He has not forgotten you. He is aware. He sees. He knows. He loves you deeply.
You are not hidden from the eyes of the One who knitted you together.
Take comfort in the truth that you are not hidden from the eyes of the One who knitted you together. Be at peace. Rest in the fact that whatever you are facing today, He has formed you for such a time as this.
